Founded thanks to love for dying species, the "Parco del
Sole" at Collazzone is little far from Perugia, and starting
two years ago is became now a real attraction.
Very easy to reach, this place deserves well a visit, also to admire how
we reach to achieve the best habitat for all the species that here lives,
quietly and in a safe way.
Here you can find equipped areas, didactis panels, that will permit you
to get scientific notices and curiosities about animals that lives here.
Parco del Sole is the right place for didactis outings for all people
who like studying animals.
"Parco del Sole" spreads out on a "route" of about
4 km all along a river.
Here we count about 300 species, and you can find a full series of services:
bar, games area, football field, volley field, pic-nic area that will
permit you to spend here relaxing hours with your family.

the zoological root with animals from Africa and other countries suited
to the Italian climate and territory [lion, buffalo, zebra, yak, llama,
dromedary camel, Watusi cattle, macaques, ostriches, lesser flamingos
and crowed cranes] or visit Italy's largest, most important centre for
the breeding, conservation and study of several rare reptile species inclusing
pythons, albino cobras, iguanas and alligators.
